I just spoke with Walter Freedman's wife and she informed me that
Walter passed away on March 12 this year. He had been ill for a
short time with a liver disease. We had a nice talk and she spoke to
me about how he came out of the military, worked for the Signal Corps in New Jersey
and after 11 months was hired by Bob Salmon as a technician for CBS in 1950.
Walter worked on the Sullivan show among others. He spent many years in the PC rooms.
She also told me to keep the e-mails coming, she enjoys them very much.
He leaves behind a son daughter and grandchildren.
