Dear Sir:
I'm contacting you from SearchWorks, an entertainment research, rights and clearance company located in Los Angeles. I am currently working on a project for Parmount Pictures. The producers of the film are interested in using an old EBS (CBS) announcement in the film. The movie is written, directed and produced by David Chase ("The Sopranos", "Northern Exposure", "The Rockford Files", etc.). He would like to use various audio clips from early TV and radio to help set the time and place for the film--specifically, New York and New Jersey in the 60's. While searching online, I came across the name of Harold R. Deppe and I notice you reference him on your website. I'm hoping Mr. Deppe, Sr. or Mr. Deppe, Jr. might be able to assist me in identifying the announcer's voice on the clip production has chosen. CBS seems to be at a loss as to who the announcer might be.

Although I have tried in every way I know, I have been unable to contact Mr. Deppe, Sr. or Mr. Deppe, Jr.

This is where you come in...I hope.

If you have any way to contact either of these two gentlemen, I'd greatly appreciate your passing this request forward on my behalf.

Should you or they have any questions, I can be reached by phone or email and I'm happy to answer any queries. Because we are now in post production, things are on a very tight schedule. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Suzanne Shelton
