Hi Dave,

Thought you might enjoy my experience with two handicapped golfers. The first acquaintance has an artificial leg and I wish I could play as well as he does! The second friend also has an artificial limb below his knee. He also plays better than me. One day we were walking off the green when he fell down. He was laying on the ground laughing and he said "my x%*&*# leg fell off. The screw that fastened the lower limb to the cap above his knee had come loose. We both began crawling on the ground and luckily we found the bolt and nut and were able to complete the round of golf. He told me it happened to him before. Being an Engineer, the next day I went to Home Depot and purchased a self locking nut of the correct thread size. We re-fitted his artificial leg with it and he hasn't had a problem since.
